Nice work, that's a good idea and a great choice of images. My only suggestion would be to tone down the saturation. When manipulating an image, there is a moment when you notice it's too forced - i.e. when it looks pixelated or spots appear in the colour gradation - that is where one should stop or decide to correct certain areas.
